Vinot-Deguingand of Puteaux and Nanterre, Seine, started with 1500cc twin-cylinders, then made four-cylinder models of l2cv (2211cc) and 18 cv (3685cc). In 1911 they added a 50 cv six of 8101cc to their range. Vinot took over Gladiator in 1909, and their cars were often sold under that name-and vice versa. The 1912 9 cv of 1693cc was continued after the war alongside new models like the 12 cv of 2613cc and the 10 cv (l847cc). When Vinot failed, their works were bought by Donnet: the Deguingand name was resurrected in 1928 for the limited production of a Violet-designed cyclecar.
