1930's
Georges Irat made very nice cars in the vintage period, starting by making their own engine, an ohv 1990cc four-cylinder, which gave way to a 2985cc six-cylinder in 1926.
They turned to Lycoming engines with six and eight cylinders in 1929, when they moved from Chatou to Neuilly. Having been partly taken over by Ruby in 1934, they then moved to the Ruby works in Levallois, where they made a very successful fwd Ruby-engined roadster, followed by a fwd Citroën-engined roadster.
Though a prototype was presented after the war, it was never put into production.
