The Chevrolet Biscayne was a series name of automobile produced by Chevrolet, a division of General Motors, in the United States from the 1958 through 1972 model years. Save for 1958, the Biscayne was the least expensive model of the Chevrolet full-size car range which included the Del Ray (1958 only), Bel Air (1950-1975), Impala (1958-1985, 1994-1996, 2000 to present) and Caprice (1965-1996). For the 1959 model year, Chevrolet discontinued the Del Ray model name and instead assigned the role of price leader to Chevrolet
